Overnight Newborn Care is the most popular option for care!

how it works

Your Specialist will arrive at your home around 9-10 PM and stay as late as 8-9 AM, working 8-12 hour shifts. We offer care every night, with a minimum of 8 hour shifts. Care can be scheduled for the entire first week home from the hospital up to several months of care, until baby is sleeping through the night! We even offer it as infrequently as once per week or as often as 7 nights a week! You decide what is most beneficial to you and your family. Each morning, your Specialist will provide you with a detailed list of everything your baby did overnight, ensuring that you are up to date with your newborn's development. During the night, I implement healthy sleep habits and tend to all of your baby's needs (i.e. changing, feeding, burping, soothing and getting them back to sleep).

I highly suggest parents begin their search for a Newborn Care Specialist as early as possible, in the 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy. There is nothing more comforting than knowing you will have someone there for you on your first night home from the hospital!

Whether you are already home from the hospital, or your baby is 5 weeks old and you are beginning to feel exhausted, it is never too late to schedule Overnight Care!

This type of care is also suitable for babies who require around the clock monitoring for a number of reasons. As a Baby Nurse, I offer overnight awake care for babies with special medical needs, whether that be that they need to be held upright the entire night, or they have monitors and medical devices that need to be tended to periodically throughout the night. This type of overnight care ensures your baby is tended to and monitored just as closely as you do during the day, by a fully educated and awake individual, no matter what hour of the night it is. Overnight awake care is especially great for Parents who need to be on high alert during the daytime hours, but need a full night's sleep to wake up well rested and with a clear head.

New Parents miss out on a total of 6 months of sleep! Over 60% of parents with children under two, get no more than 3-4 hours of sleep per night.
